Service Description

Using aimswebPlus, we are able to administer initial benchmarking assessments and ongoing monitoring assessments for students K-12. The student will be assessed on three different sections: Number Comparison Fluency-Triads (NCF-T), Mental Computation Fluency (MCF), and Concepts and Applications (CA). The NCF-T test assess the student's ability to assess magnitude and compare number within and across number systems. The MCF test assesses the student's ability to mentally solve computations. Finally, the CA test assesses the student's ability to solve one- and two-step problems and their knowledge of essential math concepts in the areas of algebra, base ten numbers, measurements and data, geometry, fractions, statistics and probability, expressions and equations, and functions. For CA, the student is given a variety of problems appropriate to their grade level. With the use of these test results, we are able to see how the student compares to the national average and then design a tutoring program around the student's problem areas.
